Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Adorable Himalaya. By booking a trip with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully to ensure you understand the policies regarding your tour.

1. Booking & Payment Policy

To confirm your reservation, the following payment schedule applies:

  • Booking Amount: 25% of the total package price is required as an initial booking amount.
  • Interim Payment: An additional 25% must be paid 30 days before the start of your journey.
  • Final Payment: Full package payment clearance is mandatory 15 days before the departure of the tour.
  • Late Payment: If full package payments are not made within the given time frame, your booking will stand cancelled. The agency is not liable to refund the advance booking amount paid.
  • Token Amount: The token amount is non-refundable in any case but can be adjusted for one year in another package.

2. Transport Policy

  • Vehicle Usage: Transportation is provided as per the itinerary only and is not available at disposal for personal use.
  • Air Conditioning: The A/C of the vehicle will be switched off in hilly areas to ensure engine safety.
  • Strikes: In case of a transporter strike, the cab will not operate. The agency is not responsible for any loss, and no refund will be provided in such cases.
  • Vehicle Damage: The agency is not responsible for vehicle damage involving mechanical faults, electrical faults, or tire bursts during the tour. No refund will be given for delays caused by these issues.
  • Driver: Contact details for transportation will be provided 24 hours before your travel date.

3. Accommodation & Meals

  • Check-in/Check-out: Timings depend strictly on the policy of the concerned hotel.
  • Meal Timings: Food will be provided according to the kitchen operational timings of the hotel.
  • Menu: Meals mentioned in the itinerary are provided in the specified hotel only. Gala Dinners are not included.
  • Extras: Room heaters are charged extra and vary from hotel to hotel.

4. Bike Package Specifics

  • Security Deposit: Guests choosing a Bike with Fuel package must pay a security deposit of Rs. 5,000/-, which is refundable upon handing over the bike in the same condition.
  • Prerequisites: Bikes are provided only after a briefing, proper checkup, and paperwork. No bikes are provided without the security deposit.
  • Mid-Trip Abandonment: If participants leave the bikes in the middle of the trip, they must bear the transportation cost.

5. General Exclusions & Liabilities

  • Personal Expenses: The package does not cover tips, laundry, room service, telephone calls, beverages, or personal medical kits.
  • Activities: Charges for horse rides, camel rides, yak rides, paragliding, river rafting, ropeways, and entry fees to parks/museums/temples are not included.
  • Force Majeure: In case of heavy snowfall, landslides, or natural calamities leading to road closures, the cab will not proceed. There is no refund, and the agency is not responsible for the loss.
  • Personal Safety: The agency is not responsible for any personal loss, damage to passengers, or road accidents during the tour.
  • Insurance: Travel and medical insurance are not included in the package.
  • Disputes: Any disputes arising out of terms, stay, food, travel plans, or cancellations are subject to these conditions.
